What is a Landing Page?
A landing page is a page on your website that a customer literally “lands on” after clicking on one of your organic links, banner ads or pay per click (PPC) links.
- The page contains keywords which the customer first saw on the ad or organic search result they clicked in order to come to the page.
- A good converting landing page is designed to encourage the visitor to complete some kind of transaction in your benefit. It could be that you want them to purchase a product, fill out a form, download free information or something else.
- A great landing page encourages your customers to place an order, sign up for a service or download more information without moving deeper into your site.
